I think that the Mac Mini is fine for multimedia and for sound editing. I am not a composer, so I do not know how far you will be pushing the device, but it should work just fine. If you buy a Mac Mini, upgrade it to the maximum memory. I have 4GB on one of minel.

Thanks for such nice step by step guide!
I am about to buy mac mini and was wondering how could I improve it if i wish to do so in some future point.
These photos sure answered all questions I had and eliminated some doubts as well.
If you can spare some time , could you tell me few things?
First of all,how are you satisfied with mac mini?
Is it sufficient for multimedia abuse, sort of speak?
And finally, I do administration for two web sites, and one of them is a musical so often i need to do some minor editing, or recording of some music and sounds. So my question is will it stand up for the job?
